Leopard seals, just like Antarctica itself - are full of contrasts. They can be ferocious predators when hunting, slick and catlike when in a playful mood, or they can be lazy and sluggish - yawning wide with a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth. The main challenge is get the right state of mind! I had an encounter with one particular seal who got a little overexcited and my life truly flashed before my eyes! That’s the nature of this work - you never know what you’re going to get.

• Please note that due to white borders, the actual paper size will have an additional 6cm (2,38in) on both the width and the height of your chosen size. These borders will be removed in the framing shop when you will frame the print.
